Made it to Rwanda and I couldn’t be more in love. The people, the food, the everything! It’s a more difficult to travel right now but we took all the proper precautions even if that meant getting tested a million times. I’m definitely corona free haha 100 temperature checks later. Crazy where the world is right now. Sending love to everyone and I’m so excited/ grateful to share this experience with all of you. 14 days left! @aloyoga

כוכבת הרשת צ'רלי ג'ורדן, שנהנית מ-3.3 מיליון עוקבים באינסטגרם וכמעט 2 מיליון עוקבים בטיקטוק, החליטה לנסוע ולהתנדב עם גורילות ברואנדה שבאפריקה. כשנחתה במדינה בשבוע שעבר היא עברה בדיקת קורונה, והתגלתה כחיובית לנגיף. אחרי שהעלתה סרטון המתאר את החוויה הקשה שעברה בבידוד שנכפה עליה, הגולשים תקפו אותה – והיא נאלצה לפרסם סרטון התנצלות על כך שנסעה למדינה.

הכוכבת הנסערת, שביקשה לשתף את העוקבים שלה עם המאורעות הקשים שעברה, טענה שהיא נדבקה בקורונה לפני שלושה חודשים וחצי, והוסיפה שהרופאים הבטיחו לה "שהיא לא יכולה להידבק בשנית". לדבריה, נציגי ממשלת רואנדה הגיעו למקום מגוריה וכפו עליה בידוד. "אני לא מדברת את השפה, והם באו ונעלו אותי בחדר".

Silverback gorillas were put on the endangered species list in 2018 by the IUCN, these gorillas share 98% of our DNA! Watching these beautiful creatures coddle their babies and protect their own, I never thought I’d be able to experience this in my lifetime. We are so far removed from the real world, it’s important to remember we need to care for every living creature. It’s very rare to see a silverback gorilla, as the silver is a sign of maturity, not the species. And they were put on the endangered species list due to the damage of their habitat. @gorillatrekkinginbwindi gives back to helping support their habitat and the communities around Rwanda, Uganda, and the Congo helping with education and water supply! Thank you so much for the amazing experience and if you guys ever come out here make sure to check them out! It’s so rare to be this close to these beautiful animals and see so many of them! בסרטוניה הדרמטיים הסבירה כוכבת הרשת שהיא הגיעה למדינה כדי להתנדב עם גורילות, והדגישה שהיא עברה "מאה אלף בדיקות" לפני שנסעה "למדינה המתפתחת". לפי הדיווחים, הכוחות הממשלתיים שהגיעו למקום בו שהתה העבירו אותה לבידוד בבית מלון. "זה ממש מפחיד, אני לא יודעת למה יש לי את זה שוב. אני לא מכירה כאן אף אחד, ואני בפאקינג רואנדה שבאפריקה. אני לא יודעת כמה זמן אני אהיה כאן, והם לא אומרים לי כלום".

בסך הכל שהתה כוכבת הרשת ארבעה ימים בלבד בבידוד, שבמהלכם עברה עוד שתי בדיקות קורונה. התוצאה, למקרה ששאלתם, היא שלילית; הבדיקה הראשונה הייתה, ככל הנראה, לא מדויקת בכלל – וג'ורדן שוחררה מהמלון.

השבוע (ראשון) פרסמה הכוכבת בת ה-21 סרטון באינסטגרם, ובו התנצלה על כך שנסעה. "אני רוצה להתנצל על כך שנסעתי בתקופה הזו, כי אני יודעת שזה זמן טוב לנסוע. טעיתי לגמרי כשעשיתי זאת, ולמדתי את הלקח שלי. תאמינו לי. ישבתי בחדר במשך ארבעה ימים וחשבתי על זה, ואני לא אסע יותר בתקופה הזו".
