As frontiers continue to shatter and contract into flattened mosaics of information, it has become more difficult to find the limit. Places like #Calabasas, an exurban sprawl located between Hollywood and Malibu, become the unlikely stage for vast ENERGY EXPERIMENTS. Calabasas is the Bethlehem of reality television and the location of @kanyewest 's Yeezy studio, an industrial space with Intel as its neighbor. The studio is a testing site for a new type of uniform, a search for the base unit of clothing. in 2016, he and Kim Kardashian West broke ground on a new Calabasas home by @axelvervoordt that remains under construction. בתזמון מושלם עם האשפוז של ווסט (39) במה שהוגדר כ"קריסה נפשית הנובעת מהתייבשות ומחסור חמור בשינה", אך מלווה בשמועות על פרנויה קשה, פסיכוזה ואפילו הזיות, סדרת תמונות של האישה והגיסה שאיתו צפה פתאום ברשת ומזכירה לכולם בדיוק מאיפה המשפחה הזו מייצרת את המיליונים שלה.

הנפשות הפועלות: צמד האחיות קים (36) וקלואי (32), הבמאי, המוזה והאיש מאחורי הקולקציה "שנלבשה" לצורך הצילומים: קניה ווסט. באחת התמונות ניתן לראות את צמד האחיות מתחפרות בחול, כשקלואי חופנת את ישבנה של אחותה הגדולה קים. בתמונה אחרת השתיים עומדות במקלחת בבגדי גוף שקופים חושפי פטמות, בדיוק כמו שאחיות עושות כמובן בקז'ואל.


סדרת התמונות צולמה על ידי הצלמים הנודעים מרקוס פיגוט ומרט אלאס עבור גיליון החורף לשנת 2016/2017 של המגזין הגרמני 032c, בימים שקדמו ככל הנראה לסדקים באימפריה המשפחתית, כחלק מקידום ליין האופנה החדש של ווסט. כל שנותר הוא לאחל לכל המשפחה בריאות ולברך אותם בברכת חז"לוש הצילומים במהרה.
